By exploring and understanding the past, humanity can be guided into the future with eyes wide open, or alternatively as we seem to be proceeding today, with eyes closed.

Carl Lehrburger's rock art explorations have revealed a disturbing conclusion; that we have been lied to about our history and what is accepted as fact is instead mythology. Over decades, Lehrburger has visited and researched ancient petroglyph sites in America to better understand our past with an eye on understanding the present. With this background, and the insights gleaned from mentors, collaborators and other explorers, he penned Secrets of Ancient America, which describes what he has learned about American history before Columbus and how it was revealed. He continues regular excursions including rock art, archaeoastronomy and sacred site journeys related to the New History, and welcome input, comments and invitations.

The real history of the New World and the visitors, from both East and West, who traveled to the Americas long before 1492

• Reinterprets many archaeological finds, such as the Ohio Serpent Mound

• Reveals Celtic, Hebrew, Roman, early Christian, Templar, Egyptian, Chinese, and Japanese influences in North American artifacts and ruins

As the myth of Columbus “discovering” America falls from the pedestal of established history, we are given the opportunity to discover the real story of the New World and the visitors, from both East and West, who traveled there long before 1492.

Sharing his more than 25 years of research and travel to sites throughout North America, Carl Lehrburger employs epigraphy, archaeology, and archaeoastronomy to reveal extensive evidence for pre-Columbian explorers in ancient America. He uncovers the real story of Columbus and his motives for coming to the Americas. He reinterprets many well-known archaeological and astronomical finds, such as the Ohio Serpent Mound, America’s Stonehenge in New Hampshire, and the Crespi Collection in Ecuador. He reveals Celtic, Hebrew, Roman, early Christian, Templar, Egyptian, Chinese, and Japanese influences in famous stones and ruins, reconstructing the record of what really happened on the American continents prior to Columbus. He also looks at Hindu influences in Mesoamerica and sacred sexuality encoded in archaeological sites.

Expanding upon the work of well-known diffusionists such as Barry Fell and Gunnar Thompson, the author documents the travels and settlements of trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific explorers, miners, and settlers who made it to the Americas and left their marks for us to discover. Interpreting their sacred symbols, he shows how their teachings, prayers, and cosmologies reveal the cosmic order and sacred landscape of the Americas.

Carl Lehrburger was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. During the 1960s and 70s he engaged as an environmental activist in anti-nuclear, anti-war, Earth Day, energy efficiency and pro-renewable energy initiatives. Highpoints included organizing Earth Day activities in 1974 at the University of Colorado, and the successful passage of a Colorado Constitutional Amendment banning nuclear blasting for energy extraction. Also after participating in perhaps the first protest at Rocky Flats nuclear weapons plant near Denver, Colorado in 1968 and organizing protests from 1969-1978, the plant was closed in 1989 with the efforts of tens of thousands of citizens.

Lehrburger has had a 50-year career in renewable energy, beginning in 1973 as a student when he was director of the Environmental Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Since then I have worked in the solar energy industry (1975-1979), waste management and recycling (1980s and early 90s) and biomass utilization field (1992-present).

Along the way he became fascinated with garbage and waste utilization and am knowledgeable in their applications beyond the landfill. His research has included waste management and lifecycle analysis (LCA) studies on behalf of industry that contrast reusable and disposable products. As a master garbologist he have researched many, and some esoteric waste streams, including diapers, municipal and industrial solid waste, agricultural and forest residues.

With the end goal of creating the technology to advance a cleaner and greener world, beginning in 1992 he co-founded PureVision Technology, Inc. along with Ed Lehrburger and Richard Wingerson. Today, the three PureVision founders lead a Colorado-based enterprise scaling up and commercializing an advanced renewable technology. Along with his invesigations and writing a New History of America, and in pursuit of a renewable future, he continues to apply his expertise and experience in the capacity of entrepreneur, corporate officer and senior manager to PureVision Technology, Inc., and a sister company Pure Hemp Technology LLC.
