The Story of the Only American Not on Earth on September 11th

Astronaut Frank Culbertson watched from the Space Station as the attacks unfolded on the ground.

When astronauts describe the feeling of sailing around space, looking at our planet from hundreds of miles above, they often invoke the phrase "orbital perspective," a shorthand for the emotional, psychological, and intellectual effects of seeing "the Earth hanging in the blackness of space." This experience is characterized by not merely awe, but, as astronaut Ron Garan puts it, "a sobering contradiction. On the one hand, I saw this incredibly beautiful, fragile oasis -- the Earth. On the other, I was faced with the unfortunate realities of life on our planet for many of its inhabitants."

For Some, Moving On From 9/11 Means Scaling Back

The moments of silence. The musical interludes. The honor guards of policemen and firefighters, colleagues of those who died rescuing others on Sept. 11, 2001. And the reading of names, whether to honor the three victims from Nutley, N.J., or the nearly 3,000 others from around the world who died in the attacks.

Across the country, the elements of a Sept. 11 anniversary commemoration have become familiar, from the World Trade Center site in Manhattan to the Pennsylvania field where United Flight 93 crashed to the dozens of New Jersey towns with neighbors to mourn. After the commemorations reached a peak of sorts for last year’s 10th anniversary, a sprinkling of communities have decided to scale back — prompted, they say, by a growing feeling that it may be time to move on.

(Engineering Mechanics (Applied Physics), 1983), and * Ph.D. (Materials Engineering Science, 1992) from the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. Her dissertation involved the development of an experimental method to measure thermal stresses in bimaterial joints. She has taught courses including * Experimental Stress Analysis, * Engineering Mechanics, * Mechanics of Materials (Strength of Materials) * Strength of Materials Testing. From 1999 to 2006 Dr. Wood has been an assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Before moving to Clemson she spent three years as a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech. One of Dr. Wood’s research interests is biomimicry, or applying the mechanical structures of biological materials to engineering design using engineering materials. Other recent research has investigated the deformation behavior of materials and structures with complex geometries and complex material properties, such as fiber-reinforced composite materials and biological materials. Dr. Wood is an expert in the use of moiré interferometry, a full-field optical method that is used in stress analysis, as well as materials characterization and other types of interference. In recent years, Dr. Wood and her students have developed optical systems with various wavelengths and waveguides. Dr. Wood has over 60 technical publications in refereed journals, conference proceedings, and edited monographs and special technical reports.

Prof. Eric Larsen, Publisher and Founder, is a native of Minnesota who has lived in New York City since 1971. He taught writing and literature for thirty-five years at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. He is now retired and devoting himself full time to writing and to The Oliver Arts & Open Press. Up through the 1980s he published fiction, essays, and reviews in numerous magazines, from quarterlies like The South Dakota Review, Prairie Schooner, and The Ohio Review through more general-circulation magazines like Harper’s, The New Republic, and The Nation. His first novel, An American Memory, came out in 1988 and received $5,000 as winner of the Chicago Tribune’s inaugural Heartland Prize for year’s best novel from or about the middle west. In 1992, his second novel, I Am Zoë Handke, was published, like the first, by Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill. His third, The End of the 19th Century, will appear in a new edition from The Oliver Press. His completed fourth novel, The Decline and Fall of the American Nation, will appear at a future date, completing a tetralogy of inter-related novels. After four decades of teaching literature, Larsen is embarked on writing a series of volumes about the “great works.” They will appear under the general title of “Great Literature for Regular People.” The first volume, Homer Whole: A Reading of the Iliad, appeared from The Oliver Arts & Open Press in 2009. Adam Engel, Associate Editor, is author of the novel Topiary (2009), the memoir-essays I Hope My Corpse Gives You the Plague: My Life in the Bush Era of Ghosts (2010), and the forthcoming volume of proems, entitled Cella Fantastik. Engel is also the author of The Oliver Arts & Open Press’s Manifesto. Reading that statement will provide not only some idea of the range and depth of Engel’s literary and intellectual achievements so far, but reading it will also provide an eloquent statement of the standards, aims, and ambitions of The Oliver Arts & Open Press itself.

Dr. Judy Wood on Veritas Radio | 9/11: The New Investigation (Full Interview)

S y n o p s i s

Reading Dr. Judy Wood's book, Where Did the Towers Go?, continues to awaken minds of note among truth seekers while mainstream media looks the other way and many in the "truth movement" bash it for its differing conclusions.

On this tenth anniversary of 9/11, Dr. Wood returns to Veritas to discuss the book's reception thus far, and her hopes for the future.

"I'd like to empower the reader to understand what happened. I want them to trust themselves, their own judgment, rather than what they've heard." Of course, one has to read the book. Those that do often return to buy another five or so, she says.

During this discussion we hear a recording of Governor Jesse Ventura lauding Dr. Wood's work to a skeptical Alex Jones. "It was some sort of microwave weapon. It wasn't a controlled demolition." We hear a recording of self-proclaimed 40-year hurricane expert Geraldo Rivera say, "Too bad there wasn't a hurricane on 9/11."

Ah, but there was a hurricane on 9/11. The public was never warned. Nor were pilots.

On 9/11/2001, a category-three Hurricane Erin stood menacingly off the shore of Long Island and Cape Cod for four days, Woods explains. Just after the towers disintegrated, it made a 90-degree turn away from the continent.

Free energy weaponry apparently requires a highly-charged, controlled atmosphere.

Wood laments that the truth movement has been derailed by distracting misinformation alluding to controlled demolition, radiation, bombs, thermite, molten metals, and more.

She says that surviving recordings reveal silence during the demise of the buildings. "The towers did not burn up, nor did they slam to the ground. They turned to dust in mid-air."

She mentions that there is no evidence any steel, or other tower remains, was shipped off to China.

Toasted cars blocks away, spontaneous combustion, papers flying while solids "dustified..." Wood's 800-pages of findings beg to be read. And bring on the skeptics.

"Just look at my book. There is no denying the evidence of directed, free-energy technology. This technology is not a secret anymore. Think of what knowing this will change."

So far no one has disputed any of the evidence presented in her book.

Gov. Jesse Ventura talks about Dr. Judy Wood's work on The Alex Jones Show

On May 10, 2011, Alex Jones interviews former Gov. Jesse Ventura. During the interview they discussed Osama bin Laden, 9/11, and the evolving police state. Recently, Gov. Ventura received a copy of Dr. Judy Wood's book "Where Did The Towers Go?". It is obvious that Gov. Ventura has read the book and this audio clip is proof that his views have shifted. He does not think that the towers felt due to controlled demolition, thermite, mini nukes, etc. Listen to this short audio clip for the proof.

The Alex Jones show can be heard daily on www.infowars.com and prisonplanet.tv

Veritas Radio Show - Dr. Judy Wood - Where Did The Towers Go on 9/11?

S y n o p s i s

Dr. Judy Wood discussed her new book: Where Did The Towers Go?: The Evidence of Directed Energy Technology on 9/11.

For the record, I do not believe that our government is responsible for executing the events of 9/11/01 – nor do I believe that our government is not responsible for executing the events of 9/11/01. This is not a case of belief. This is a crime that should be solved by a forensic study of the evidence. Before it can be determined who did it, it must first be determined what was done and how it was done.

The order of crime solving is to determine

1) WHAT happened, then

2) HOW it happened (e.g., by what weapon), then

3) WHO did it. And only then can we address

4) WHY they did it (i.e. motive).

Let us remember what is required to convict someone of a crime. You cannot convict someone of a crime based on belief. You cannot convict someone of a crime if you don’t even know what crime to charge them with. If you accuse someone of murder using a gun, you’d better be sure the body has a bullet hole in it. And yet before noon on 9/11/01, we were told who had done it and how it had been done, this before any investigation had even been conducted to determine what had been done.

My own research, not speculation, is a forensics investigation of what happened to the WTC complex on 9/11/01. I don’t address who did it, nor am I concerned with that question. Before issues of that kind can be addressed, we must first determine what happened, and that is the objective of my research.

By definition, research that is purely empirical cannot be about and has nothing to do with conspiracy theory of any kind. The fact that others (in the mainstream media, the alternative media, and the so-called “9/11 truth movement”) promote various theories about 9/11 is irrelevant to my research. On the other hand, to determine what happened, we must address all of the available evidence.

Anyone declaring who did what or how they did it before they have determined what was done is merely promoting either speculation or propaganda. The popular chant, “9/11 was an inside job,” is, scientifically speaking, no different from the chant that “19 bad guys with box cutters did it” Neither one is the result of a scientific investigation supported by evidence that would be admissible in court. Neither identifies what crime was committed or how it was committed.

So let us consider the body of empirical evidence that must be explained in order to determine what happened.12 What is presented here is not a theory and it is not speculation. It is evidence. Here, then, is the evidence of what happened on 9/11/01.

Dr. Wood started to question the events of 9/11 on that same day when what she saw and heard on television was contradictory and appeared to violate the laws of physics. Since that day she has used her knowledge of engineering mechanics to prove that the collapse of the World Trade Center twin towers could not have happened as the American public was told.
